We've been sharing personal stories about life, our adventures and other travels, photos and videos on the Internet since 1999. We do it for the enjoyment, camaraderie and information it imparts to others and as a living family history. However, all our adventures, stories, and photos and videos are personal property and may not be copied, modified or used for any purpose, without our prior written consent.

If you want to use our stories, informational articles, photos or any other personal property we've posted, such as images, maps or other material, just drop us an email and let us know what you want to use and why.

We tend to be generous, but like to know what is being used and how it is being used.

Copyright Policy for Scripts, XHTML & CSS Techniques

Our copyright policy is straight forward.

Personal usage is free. While payment is not required, donations are appreciated and they help to say 'thank you' and provide support (and encouragement) for continued development. A link back to http://randsco.com is also appreciated.

Commercial usage requires compensation. (A site is considered 'commercial' if its primary purpose is to make money).

The goal is not to get rich from scripts, techniques and methods, but it is appropriate to ask to be compensated for the value that they add to a for-profit website. Compensation may be in the form of a donation (see below) or, alternatively, by hiring Scott for design, customizing or deploying the technique, script or xhtml/css method, on your commercial website.
