Site MapAgain, this is something that I've been wanting to do for some time and I believe that a site map is necessary to help those people out that have a hard time figuring out what is what on our site. I'd like to think that our menu system is easy and will work, but some people just require a site map to figure it out. So ... here you go ... a site map. :)

There aren't many folks running a b2evolution blog that don't owe this Brit some sort of "thanks" for helping them with their blog. This amazingly generous bloke is a first-class coder & is also very giving with his time. It's appropriate to kick off the *NEW* "Shout Out" section, with a post about ¥åßßå - and his "Tacky Pad" website ... (Note: Post not done yet, which is, ironically ... the story of my life!)
Okay ... wow ... how do I start? It's appropriate that my first "shout out" should go to my fellow b2evo buddy, friend and "business partner" ¥åßßå, but it's not all that easy, introducing someone you've never actually met (especially if you don't want it to sound like a eulogy). 
On the plus side, ¥åßßå is super helpful and an amazing coder (if you can keep the bottles of beer tucked out of sight). He's also pretty wicked at growing Dahlias (championship-like wicked), but that's another story. At other times, he's just plain wicked. 
Chances are, however, if you have a b2evolution blog and ever gone onto the b2evo forums, he's either helped you directly or "opened the door" so you can help yourself.
I guess it's high time to tip a hat to this bloke and his coding-spiffy, but styling-wasteland of a "tacky pad" website - Innervisions.org.uk (that's ORG dot UK, not UK dot ORG, so try to get it right). So here goes ... my tribute to ¥åßßå ... a sort of "stream-of-conscience" thing that may (or may not) change over time. You know ... how we met, what a wanker *cough* - great guy he is and a bit about how he's single-handedly battling SPAM and fighting to make b2evolution better than ever.
If you're lucky, I might even reveal his *gasp* real name, as well as other semi-embarrasing things ... all of which, I'm sure, he'll get me back at me for, in due time.

Kimler Adventure Pages: Journal Entries
Scott & Rachel took their 3 1/2 year-old daughter on her 3rd self-supported bicycle touring adventure. They cycled from Yellow Point to Seattle and back (350 miles or so). Read about their 10-day journey. (Completed through Day 4)
338 Miles, 5 Ferries & 10 Days of Sunshine
Early this month, we enjoyed a 10-day bicycle loop adventure. We started from our home in Yellow Point, just south of Nanaimo, on Vancouver Island and rode to Seattle Washington (via Victoria) and then back, along the Washington coast. Along the way, we took a few ferry boats, which helped break up the riding for our 3-and-a-half year-old daughter.
It was Alex's third cycle-tour! (For a 3 year-old, that's pretty good!)
We experienced 10 days of glorious Indian Summer weather, we camped out, we visited with friends in Victoria, West Seattle, Redmond and Bellingham, we had an unlikely encounter with an old PCT friend, and we even managed to cycle a fair distance.

We plunked the double-hulled, aluminum shrimping boat "Pugwis" into Vancouver Island waters for the first time. Read about her maiden voyage and why we were dejected, when we pulled the boat out of the water
Pugwis Hits the Water
After a few months in the boat yard, "Pugwis", was nearly ready for a dip in the ocean. Scott still had to re-wire the trailer, clean the deck and then the boat was ready for her maiden voyage. Unfortunately, we discovered that the boat was laden with nearly 340 pounds of water and had to find a way to drain her.
Finally, "Pugwis" was lighter, her trailer wired and ready to go. Last week, the Gods were with us as both weather and our busy work schedules converged, allowing us to take "Pugwis" down to the public boat ramp at the Ladysmith harbor. With nervous excitement, we hitched the boat to our minivan and headed south, along Yellow Point Road.

We're officially moved into our new Vancouver Island home. Rats, deer, dial-up, boxes, wood stoves ... we've been here one week and there's still lots to do ...
Knee-Deep in Boxes, But Functional
It's been nearly a month since we vacated our Edmonton abode. Rachel has been working and living in Nanaimo, renting a room from Liz, who lives close to the hospital. Scott and the Oop have been to California and back, visiting grandparents (who all think that the Oop is 90% cute and only 10% "pain in the ass").
We took possession of our Yellow Point home on October 17th, as planned. It was nice that Cathy (the previous owner) allowed us to put our stuff in the garage, because it meant (in essence) we were ALREADY moved! Of course, the big task was still to haul it all INSIDE and UP the stairs.
We've been here a week. Read on about our current state of chaos ...

After two years of hard work and good grades, we're starting to see the fruits of Rachel's scholastic labor, as Rachel has (just today) received her first job offer. Mind you, it's not in writing, but it IS from the place we are looking at as our 'number one choice' - Vancouver Island. Specifically, Nanaimo, on the eastern coast, north of Victoria.
